Every great man or woman can always come back to a point in their life when something happened. They made a decision, they were shot, they lost a limb, someone came into their life and said something that changed the way they looked at things. This will be true in your life; should you decide to pursue it. It's been 2 days since the seminar and the ideas, concepts and words still echo in my head. Tony Robbins once said, "Decision is the ultimate power." I didn't realize the amazing impact decision really has. This weekend Ryan Smith, a successful young serial entrepreneur and real estate investor took my view of the world and turned it upside down. One thing in particular hit me like a punch to the stomach when you think its coming at your head, "Education without application is just entertainment."...I paused...and suddenly realized I had been entertaining myself way too much. I'm a very good planner, I think it through, mark dates and weigh pros and cons but my real problem, the most important problem, is like Nike says, Just do it. I have read success books, listened to audio CD'S, watched DVD' s. However, it wasn't until I began surrounding myself with people I really wanted to be like that the universe actually started to take notice. God blesses the work of your hands. The next step in my life is right in front of me and thanks to a young man saying the right thing, when I was in the right place, at the right time, I can take that step with confidence. If I would not have heard his words of wisdom, I seriously doubt I would have figured it out any other way. I thank God for the people he has put in my life that are slowly creating the person I'm going to be and some may never even know the depth of their deposit in my life.
